| Our most popular style of figures, used in both the Young Children & Worship and Following Jesus books, are made from a solid color wood. The suggestion is a solid color wood draws attention to the story and movement of the figures rather than the figures themselves. The Old Testament figures, including the ‘People of God’ are 3/8” thick and the New Testament figures are all 3/4" thick. These "chunky" figures are easy for little hands to hold, and stand up easily on the felt underlays. | In response to requests from many of our customers, we also carry a line of multi-color wood figures for use with both Young Children & Worship and Following Jesus books. These attractive figures are made from an assortment of woods: pine, black walnut, cypress, maple, and zebra, to name a few. These 1/4” thick Old Testament figures, including the ‘People of God’ and 3/4” thick New Testament figures, are identical to the solid color wood figures except for the variety of multi-color woods, indicating we are all different. |
